How completion works
Pass the practice question in every lesson first, then pass four assessment sets in order. Each set has 10 distinct questions and requires at least 80% (8 out of 10). All four must be passed; a high score in one cannot compensate for another. It is open-book and must be your own work. This automated assessment checks course understanding; it does not independently verify identity or workplace competence.
Each set attempt has its own 15-minute window. Starting an attempt counts even if you abandon it. Wait 15 minutes from the start before a retake; after every third attempt of the same set wait 24 hours. Passed sets stay saved. A live attempt can be resumed. Retakes and learning remain free.
About this course
Moving into a management role changes the focus from personal output alone to the conditions that help a team deliver. This course explores responsibilities, work expectations, support and a useful management routine. The extended lessons use fictional situations so you can examine what the leader can decide, what needs another role’s authority and what practical obstacle should be addressed.
Management involves listening as well as giving direction. An unclear instruction, missing access and insufficient practice are different problems and may require different responses. The activities encourage factual language and relevant follow-through. This is informal introductory learning, not a management qualification, professional registration or authority to conduct specialist HR, safety or legal processes. Completion records and optional certificates describe platform course completion only.
Who this course is for
New team leaders, supervisors and community coordinators seeking introductory management practice.
A practical example
A fictional team misses a handover because the required source was never approved. Before judging motivation, identify the expected output, the missing decision and the person authorised to supply it. Agree a realistic next action and communicate any changed commitment to the receiving team.
Then review the manager’s own contribution. Was the dependency visible in the original plan? A useful improvement might be an earlier check of required inputs, rather than taking every future task away from the colleague. Explain the choice using facts and the actual role boundaries.
Try your own fictional version, then enrol to work through the lessons, practice and assessments. Use this unmarked example to explore the skill before working through the course activities.
