Paths and resources

Paths are suggested course sequences, not separate qualifications or certificates. Existing course requirements and optional certificate prices apply individually. Resources are original free practice aids. Use fictional details; downloadable files are not automatically saved or assessed by Bright Step Learning.

Private notes and bookmarks

Notes belong to your account and are not published or shared with instructors or other learners. They are stored on the server only when you press Save. Save before changing lessons or checking practice. You can clear the note and bookmark from the lesson. Older-version notes are labelled so you can review them before updating. Avoid passwords, real learner/employee records or sensitive personal information. Administrators do not have a notes-browsing endpoint in this release; authorised system operators may still access stored data when necessary for support, security or applicable obligations.

Honest learner reviews

Only verified learners who complete a course may submit one review per course; certificate purchase is not required. Choose a public alias and explicitly consent to publication. Admin checks privacy, relevance and abuse. Critical ratings are welcome and must not be removed merely because they are negative. Do not post final assessment content, private information, copied material or advertisements. Your public alias, rating, review, course version and publication date are the only public review fields. Editing returns the review to moderation and removes the earlier public version. Withdraw removes it from public display; moderation/audit history may remain. Published reviews are learner opinions, not independent identity checks or employment endorsements.

Lesson problem reports

Enrolled learners can report unclear content, possible errors, technical or accessibility issues. Reports and admin responses are private to the reporting account and authorised admins. Do not paste final questions or private records. Five new reports per account per hour are allowed. Admin can acknowledge, review and close a report; a report does not automatically modify the course or assessment bank. Keep your reference for follow-up.

Performance reports

Authorised admin sees course-level outcomes and operational financial snapshots. Data caps and incomplete coverage are labelled. These figures are not audited accounts and do not replace the dedicated affiliate payout ledger. Reports do not expose private assessment questions or personal notes.
