How completion works
Pass the practice question in every lesson first, then submit four assessment sets in order. Each set has 10 distinct questions. Submit all four sets and score at least 60% overall (24 correct answers out of 40). Set scores combine; there is no minimum score per set. Your best submitted score per set is retained on retakes. It is open-book and must be your own work. This automated assessment checks course understanding; it does not independently verify identity or workplace competence.
Each set attempt has its own 15-minute window. Starting an attempt counts even if you abandon it. Wait 15 minutes from the start before a retake; after every third attempt of the same set wait 24 hours. Your best submitted set scores stay saved. A live attempt can be resumed. Retakes and learning remain free.
About this course
Leadership begins with everyday choices that help a group understand and complete useful work. This free eight-lesson course introduces clear agreements, listening, realistic planning, fair participation and specific feedback through a fictional adult workshop example. It does not assume that you already hold a management title or have authority over other people.
You will build a small workbook of practical activities, learn how to ask for an authorised decision and choose one habit to practise after the course. Every lesson includes a comprehension check before the four-set assessment. Learning and the Certificate of Completion are free after meeting the requirements. The certificate confirms informal course completion only and is not an NQF qualification.
Who this course is for
Adults taking their first steps in coordinating a small work team, volunteer group or shared learning activity.
A practical example
Three colleagues are preparing a workshop, but “sort out the materials” means something different to each person. Write a clearer agreement naming the required packs, responsible person, useful completion date and stock check. Then introduce a missing input and practise asking for help without promising an unauthorised purchase. Use the exercise to see how clear agreements, listening and realistic planning work together rather than treating leadership as a job title.
Try your own fictional version, then enrol to work through the lessons, practice and assessments. Use this unmarked example to explore the skill before working through the course activities.
